A Blockchain-Based Framework for Developing Traceability Applications towards Sustainable Agriculture in Vietnam

Recently, many governments in the world have been focusing on building sustainable agriculture to improve life quality of farmers and significantly increase their income. In Vietnam, however, still face problems “good harvest–low prices, vice versa” lack capital for scaling or transforming production model. One main reasons this phenomenon is that price agricultural products does not depend farmers’ efforts but based purchase trader market price. Besides, also maintain farming habits regional culture follow trendy profitable products. Those strategies make type product oversupplied, leading a down shortly, so income will decrease. The above stem from information communication tools between actors value chain, especially cooperatives, farmers, consumers.
